Devon is a 3rd year student at Dalhousie University studying International Development and Environmental Sustainability. Devon has travelled extensively, especially enjoying her recent travels in South America. Her commitment to academia is equally as important to her as the 'real world' skills she has learnt from her global exploring. Her interest in International Development was catalyzed by her involvement in a community development project in the Dominican Republic but was truly solidified during her time spent in Southeast Asia. Most recently, Devon has been involved as the President of I.D.E.A.S, the International Development Education and Awareness Society at Dalhousie. Devon's research interests include food sovereignty, corporate social and environmental responsibility, and gender justice in the Global South.
